
How I Work
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic models depending on your unique needs and what feels most supportive for you. I’m particularly influenced by person-centred, mindfulness-based, existential and cognitive behavioural approaches. This means I offer a grounded, compassionate presence and a deep respect for your authentic self and inner wisdom - while also helping you explore practical ways to navigate the challenges you’re facing.

Existential therapy informs much of my perspective. It’s a thoughtful and reflective approach that explores the deeper questions we all face at times - Who am I? What really matters to me? How do I find meaning in life? It helps us understand how we relate to ourselves, others and the world around us, especially during times of change, uncertainty, or challenge.

Rather than viewing emotional struggles as something to 'fix' existential therapy supports you in making sense of your experiences, understanding your values and finding your own way forward. It encourages greater self-awareness, personal responsibility and a more authentic, intentional way of living.

Mindfulness helps us stay connected to the present moment, while CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) offers practical tools for identifying and gently challenging unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck. When helpful, I draw on CBT techniques to build awareness of how your thoughts, emotions and actions interact - and to support meaningful change in a manageable, empowering way.

I support people with a wide range of issues, including grief, anxiety, trauma, depression, family dynamics, identity questions, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions and the desire for personal growth.
Ultimately, my aim is to support you in deepening self-awareness, reconnecting with your inner resources, gaining clarity and experiencing meaningful change. I hope to help you grow in ways that feel lasting and true to who you are - unlocking your potential and moving toward a life that feels purposeful, fulfilling and aligned.
