Confidentiality Promise
Everything you share in counselling is treated with strict confidentiality. I will not disclose information about you without your permission, except in specific circumstances detailed below.
Limits to Confidentiality
There are rare situations where I may need to break confidentiality:

If I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or others

If you disclose serious criminal activity (e.g., terrorism, money laundering)

Wherever possible, I will always seek to discuss this with you first before taking any action.
Supervision
As part of ethical practice, I attend professional supervision where I may discuss my work. Any discussions are anonymised to protect your identity.
Data Protection
All records are kept secure and comply with GDPR regulations.
