By engaging with Matthew Howe Counselling, you agree to the following terms:

Services Offered

I provide individual counselling for adults

Sessions are 50 minutes in length and are available:
In-person from a welcoming counselling space in Paignton, Devon
Online via secure video call

Fees and Payment

Sessions cost £50 per session
Payment is due in advance or within 24 hours of our session via bank transfer
Concessionary rates are available for counselling students studying level 4 or above

Cancellations and Missed Sessions

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee
Missed sessions without notice may be charged in full
If you arrive late for an in-person or online session, the session will still end at the scheduled time

In-Person Sessions

Sessions take place from a comfortable and welcoming counselling space in Paignton, Devon
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive early, you may be asked to wait until the previous session has finished
If you are unwell or unable to attend in person, we may be able to switch the session to online where appropriate

Online Counselling

You are responsible for ensuring you have a confidential and quiet space for sessions
You acknowledge that while I take precautions, internet-based sessions carry minor security risks

Emergencies
This counselling service is not a crisis service. In case of emergency, please contact 999, your GP, or Samaritans (116 123)

Ending Therapy
You are free to end therapy at any time. I encourage at least one ending session to review and close our work properly

Complaints
I aim to provide a professional, ethical service. If you have any concerns, please raise them with me directly. You can also contact my professional body NCPS if needed
