By engaging with Matthew Howe Counselling, you agree to the following terms:

Services Offered

Individual counselling
Sessions are 1 hour long, delivered online via secure video call

Fees and Payment

Sessions cost £50 per session
Payment is due in advance via bank transfer
Concessionary rates may be available for those on low income and counselling students

Cancellations and Missed Sessions

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee
Missed sessions without notice may be charged in full

Online Counselling Terms

You are responsible for ensuring you have a confidential and quiet space for sessions
You acknowledge that while I take precautions, internet-based sessions carry minor security risks

Emergencies
This counselling service is not a crisis service. In case of emergency, please contact 999, your GP, or Samaritans (116 123).

Ending Therapy
You are free to end therapy at any time. I encourage at least one ending session to review and close our work properly.

Complaints
I aim to provide a professional, ethical service. If you have any concerns, please raise them with me directly. You can also contact my professional body NCPS if needed.
